Our organization was established in November of 2013 by Ms. Bobbie Wooten, who initially just wanted to have a community event for Thanksgiving to help the less fortunate by preparing a hot meal. That event was so successful and positive (over 150 people were fed with the help of over 20 volunteers) that she decided that she would like to do it on a monthly basis.

Since November of 2013 Feed Sacramento Homeless has successfully and consistently served the community on a monthly basis. As of January 8th of 2015 we have served over 2000 people in Sacramento. In October of 2014 we were officially declared a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and expanded our services beyond food to include clothing, toys for children, and hygiene products. All of our materials have been donated by people and businesses throughout Sacramento. We are growing every month and what we have accomplished in such a short time is due to the dedication, compassion and generosity of our public supporters, volunteers, and board members.
